Terms of service

Version 1.2, 19 October 2026

What you earn when you refer someone who joins Jinty is in the Commission terms.

These terms are an agreement between ECom24 Ltd, trading as Jinty, a company registered in Scotland, United Kingdom, under number SC276560, with its registered office at Jinty.store, Hamilton House, ML10 6SY, UK ("we", "us"), and you. They cover how you use Jinty: the website, the app, and every page we host. By making an account or using Jinty, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you use Jinty for a business, you confirm you have the power to accept these terms for that business.

What Jinty is

  1. Jinty is a link-in-bio. You get a page at jinty.store/your-name where you put your links, and share it where you like.
  2. Every page shows the Jinty badge, on both plans. When someone you refer becomes a paying Jinty customer, you earn 50% recurring commission for the life of their subscription. The Commission terms say how.
  3. On the Seller plan you can also sell digital products, services and bookings (paid calls) from your page.
  4. Jinty is software that hosts your page and runs checkout. We do not sell anything to your audience.

Your account

  1. You must be 18 or over.
  2. Give us a real email address and keep your details true.
  3. You are in charge of your password and of everything done with your account. If you think someone else got in, tell us at hello@jinty.store.

Your page and your name on it

  1. Page names go to the first person who asks for them. We may refuse or take back a name that copies someone else or uses someone else's brand name. Some names are kept for our own use.
  2. Your published page is public and search engines can list it. If you do not want people to see it, do not publish it.
  3. Every page shows the Jinty badge, on both plans. It holds your referral link, which earns your commission. It cannot be removed.

Your content

  1. What you write, upload and sell stays yours.
  2. You let us store, copy and show your content. We do this only to run and promote Jinty. That means things like making an image smaller, not changing your words. When you unpublish or delete, we stop showing it to the public.
  3. You promise you have the rights to everything you put on Jinty.
  4. Jinty's software, name, logo and designs are ours. You may use the badge as we give it to you, and nothing else of ours.
  5. Keep your own copy of everything you upload. We take care of your files, but we are not a backup service.

What you must not do

  1. Do not use Jinty to:
    • break the law, or help someone else break it;
    • publish or sell what you have no right to;
    • publish sexual content involving children, content that pushes violence or hatred, or anything that harasses a person;
    • run a scam, a fake shop or a scheme that pays people mainly for bringing in others;
    • share viruses or other files that harm a device;
    • pretend to be another person, business or brand;
    • pretend to be Jinty or copy its pages;
    • say or suggest how much money anyone will make with Jinty. We never do, and neither may you;
    • send spam;
    • attack, overload or break into Jinty, or reach data that is not yours;
    • resell Jinty as if it were your own.
  2. You are responsible for everything published from your account.

Reports and takedowns

  1. Use the Report link on any page, or write to hello@jinty.store, if something on Jinty breaks these terms or your copyright. Say what it is and where to find it.
  2. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and we will look again.

Commission

  1. What you earn when you refer someone who joins Jinty is set out in the Commission terms and on the How you get paid page, not here.

Selling on Jinty

  1. You are the seller. When someone buys from your page, they buy from you, not from Jinty. We are not the seller.
  2. You take payments through Stripe Connect. The buyer pays on Stripe's secure page, and the money goes to your Stripe account. Jinty takes no part of your sales. Stripe's own terms and fees apply to you. You can sell in pounds, euros or US dollars.
  3. We host your product page and checkout, and we deliver the file or booking details once Stripe tells us the payment worked. If we fail at that, tell us and we will fix it.
  4. The rest is yours:
    • saying truthfully what you sell, what the buyer gets and what it costs;
    • giving the buyer what you promised, and dealing with anyone who says you did not;
    • refunds. They are your decision, made through Stripe;
    • tax on your sales;
    • consumer law. A buyer in the UK or EU can usually cancel a digital purchase within 14 days. They cannot if they agreed to get it at once and knew they would lose this right. If you sell there, you must follow these rules;
    • looking after your buyers' details;
    • keeping a working email address on your checkout, and reading it, so buyers can ask you questions.
  5. If a buyer, Stripe or anyone else makes a claim against us because of what you sold, you pay the fair costs we have because of it. This does not apply if we broke these terms.
  6. If you are a buyer: your deal, your refund and your rights are with the creator whose page you bought from. If you paid and nothing arrived, tell us at hello@jinty.store.

Jinty's plans and paying us

  1. Jinty has a Free plan and a Seller plan. The app shows what each includes and costs, and what the app shows is what applies. Prices are in US dollars.
  2. The Seller plan is a subscription you buy from us, and for it we are the seller. You pay in advance, every month or every year, through Stripe. A yearly plan never changes to a monthly one.
  3. You can cancel any time. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for, and we do not refund the unused part of a period. This does not take away any right the law gives you as a consumer.
  4. When a Seller plan ends, nothing is deleted. You keep what the Free plan includes. What only the Seller plan includes stops until you subscribe again.
  5. We may change plans, limits and prices. If a change takes something away or costs you more, we tell you first and you can cancel before it starts.
  6. Jinty is new. Features will change. The badge and your commission stay, as the Commission terms set out.

Closing your account

  1. You can close your account any time, in Settings. Any Seller plan ends, with no refund for the unused part of a period. Closing it ends your commission, and any balance we have not yet paid you is lost, as the Commission terms say.
  2. Your page and product pages stop working at once and you are signed out.
  3. We keep your account for 30 days. If you closed it by mistake, write to us in that time and we can bring it back, with your balance. A new account does not get it back. Your page name stays kept for you.
  4. After 30 days your personal data is erased, and you cannot get the account back. Take what you need before you close.

Suspending or closing by us

  1. We may suspend or close your account, or take down a page, a product or a file, if you break these terms, if the law says we must, or if leaving it up puts people or Jinty at risk. We tell you first when we reasonably can. For serious or repeated breaks of these terms, we do not tell you first.
  2. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we give you fair notice and time to take your data.
  3. Suspending your account or a page ends your commission, and any balance we have not yet paid you is lost, as the Commission terms say.

Keeping Jinty running

  1. We work hard to keep Jinty up, but we cannot promise it will always be. There will be maintenance and there will be faults.

Our liability

  1. We are still responsible if our negligence causes death or injury, and in cases of fraud. We are also responsible where the law does not let us limit it.
  2. Apart from that:
    • we are not liable for lost sales, lost profit, lost data, or other loss that follows from something else;
    • we are not liable for a sale between you and your buyer;
    • in any twelve months, the most we will pay you is what you paid us in that time, or £100 if that is more.
  3. Jinty is provided 'as is' (with no promise that it is perfect). We do not promise you will make any sales or any money.

Changes to these terms

  1. We may change these terms. If a change matters to you, we email you or tell you in the app before it starts. If you keep using Jinty after that, you accept it. If you do not, close your account. Changes to the Commission terms follow the way set out in those terms.

The law, and the rest

  1. Scottish law applies to these terms. Any dispute goes to Scottish courts.
  2. If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still stands. If we wait before enforcing a term, we can still enforce it later. You cannot pass your account to anyone else. We can transfer these terms to the new owner if the business is sold. These terms, the Commission terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between us.
