About us
We help people turn what they know into something someone can buy, without paying for a business before they have one.
That sentence is the whole brief. Everything we build gets measured against it, and anything that does not serve it does not get built.
Start without spending, and keep what you build.
Four things the people we build Jinty for are trying to do, and the way of working we hold ourselves to for each one.
-
You have something people keep asking you for, and no idea how to turn it into something they can buy.
-
We guide. We never hand you an empty form.
The editor asks who it is for, what problem it solves, what they get and why it is worth the price, and shows you finished examples to work from.
-
You do not want another subscription before you know this will sell.
-
Nothing to pay until you're earning.
No fixed cost to start. What changes once you are selling is written in plain words, and it is written down before you spend a weekend on this.
-
People take the free thing and you never hear from them again.
-
What's yours stays yours.
Buyers pay you through your own Stripe account. Contacts land in your own email provider. Both of them leave with you, whenever you want.
You want to earn something that makes a difference at home.
We judge ourselves on one thing: whether the people who use Jinty are earning from it.
The free link-in-bio page is not a trial, and neither is selling before you pay us anything. Both are there because we would rather be paid by somebody who is already earning.
From the founder
I started my first software company in 2000, working from rural central Scotland, which is still where I build from. It was an email marketing platform, and the plan was simple: a real range of features, priced so a small business owner could actually afford it, and support that was quick and actually answered.
Thousands of internet marketers around the world ended up running their email on it, from one person with a laptop to companies with a marketing department.
From 2018 I co-founded podcast hosting platforms, which put me alongside creators. That is 26 years in internet marketing, most of it spent watching people start something from nothing. I have done it myself more than once.
What decides it, more often than the idea, is money going out before any comes in. A monthly charge for a tool is a small amount on paper and a large one when you have not earned anything yet. I have watched good ideas get put off for that reason, and I have put my own off for it.
That is where Jinty came from. The things I set out with in 2000 are what it is built on now, and nothing to pay until you're earning is what I would have wanted at the start.
What I want out of it is simple. I would like people to earn something from what they know, whether that turns into the whole of their income or just makes a month at home easier.
I am not going to tell you it will sell, because nobody can tell you that. What I can do is take the cost and some of the guesswork out of finding out.
